Boutique no more

Organic Food has until now been largely an exclusive, 'boutique' affair adopted primarily by affluent consumers. The costs typically involved with bringing the produce to retail shelves, every step of the way, has resulted in a situation where organic produce costs many times more than non-organic equivalents, immediately putting it beyond the reach of the average consumer.

By using processes and practices designed to significantly lower the cost of manufacture, distribution and marketing, Arogyam Organics has successfully introduced top quality organic produce to the market at prices that are comparable to regular produce. We hope this will widen the reach of organic produce to reach markets that have hitherto been untapped.

Organic Food can only really be mainstreamed if it moves from being a novelty to being a way of life for the general public. When the average family buys organic produce for the majority of their monthly groceries, we can safely say that the age of organic food would have arrived.

The major roadblock to this has always been price – a roadblock which Arogyam Organics is working to remove, with considerable success.
